“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs!”

As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, Chapel of the Cross will be presenting a special musical concert on Sunday, May 31, at 6:30 p.m. Using Psalm 100 as our theme, this event will feature Chapel’s various choirs, handbells and orchestra as we praise our Lord for His faithfulness and countless blessings through music and song.

Additionally, we have been working with several composers to commission new music for this year. Both David von Kampen and David Cherwien (well-known composer, organist, and director of the National Lutheran Choir) are working on special choir anthems, while Rev. Stephen Starke and veteran composer Carl Schalk are working on an anniversary hymn for our October worship services.
